Discover a nurturing and enriching Infant Program in Calabasas at Montessori of Calabasas, where we believe that learning begins from the very first days of life. Our Montessori Infant Program provides a safe, loving, and stimulating environment for babies ages 6 weeks through 14 months, supporting their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development during these important early stages of life.
Rooted in the educational philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, our infant classrooms are thoughtfully designed to encourage natural curiosity, sensory exploration, and early independence. From soft, natural materials and age-appropriate Montessori learning tools to peaceful, organized spaces, every aspect of our environment is created with your baby’s comfort, safety, and developmental needs in mind. Our goal is to provide exceptional infant care in Calabasas while allowing each child to explore, discover, and grow at their own pace.
At Montessori of Calabasas, our dedicated and compassionate caregivers understand the importance of building strong, trusting relationships with every infant. Through attentive, responsive care and individualized guidance, we support each baby’s unique feeding, sleeping, and developmental routines. Our nurturing approach helps children feel secure, confident, and comfortable as they begin discovering the world around them.
Our comprehensive Montessori Infant Program incorporates engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that promote essential early learning milestones. Gentle movement exercises, tummy time, sensory exploration, language-rich interactions, and carefully selected Montessori materials help strengthen motor coordination, communication, visual tracking, and early problem-solving abilities. These meaningful experiences encourage infants to develop their natural curiosity while establishing a strong foundation for future learning.
We also believe that a successful infant care experience begins with a strong partnership between parents and educators. Our team prioritizes open communication, keeping families informed about their baby’s daily experiences, developmental progress, and important milestones. From first smiles and early movements to those exciting first steps, we are honored to support your child’s growth every step of the way.
